National Frederic Chopin Institute to partner Piano Congress
Polish Piano Tuners Association has signed an agreement with National Frederic Chopin Institute whose purpose is to join forces in organizing Piano Congress.
Organisers
The Association of Polish Piano Tuners (SPSF) exists since 2007. The idea of establishing the association was to integrate and consolidate people who professionally deal with pianos and grand pianos in our country. SPSF is open to all people interested in history, building, service and tuning of pianos and grand pianos.
Europiano is a union of 18 independent national piano tuner and technicians associations. The main purpose is to be a forum for the craftsmen in the field of piano technology, to support their professional and commercial interests, and thus to make the best contribution in preserving the cultural value of keyboard instruments and their music
The International Association of Piano Builders and Technicians (IAPBT) was formed in 1979. The purpose and objectives of the organization are to maintain a worldwide fellowship of piano technicians and piano builders and to provide a means for the free exchange of technical information and ideas of related interest.
The Fryderyk Chopin Institute – an institute established in 2001 on the basis of the Act on the Protection of the Fryderyk Chopin Heritage of 3 February 2001. It is the largest Chopin centre in the world, which promotes, protects, studies and disseminates the legacy of Fryderyk Chopin. The Institute is the organiser of the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition held every five years in Warsaw and the International Music Festival Chopin and his Europe.
