Günter Schaible, the president of Europiano and IAPBT along with Andrzej Chabracki — the president of Polish Piano Tuners Association are inviting everyone to Piano Congress which will be held in Warsaw this year.
Piano Congress in Poland is the European Europiano Congress and the World Convention IAPBT. These two organizations organize such events in Europe (every 3 years) and in the world (every 2 years). Once in a decade such meetings are held in Europe. Polish Piano Tuners Association is the organizer, along with Europiano and IAPBT, of piano Congress which will be held at DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Warsaw on September 2–4 of 2022.
This will be the first such event in the last 3 years. In 2020, 2021 and the first half of 2022 the most important music events in the world (e.g. MusikMesse) were forced to be cancelled due to the pandemic. Piano Congress is the first world event fo such importance where manufacturers, constructors, renovators and retailers of pianos and grand pianos will meet. Warsaw is happy to welcome people from South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, USA, United Kingdom, Mexico, Australia, Germany, Norway, France and Spain.
We have prepared 3 days filled with seminars, concerts, movie display and instrument exhibition for the participants of Piano Congress. 29 seminars and lectures, 3 concerts and 1 movies display will be held on that time. The total time of the congress can be included in 27 hours of seminars, 5.5 hours of concerts and 1 hour of a movie display. On a 1800-square-meter surface, major manufacturers from around the world will display their pianos: Petrof, C. Bechstein, Steingraeber & Söhne, Kawai, Yamaha, Bösendorfer.
