The Pramberger company has been manufacturing pianos and grand pianos since 1779. It was founded in Austria by Joseph Johann Pramberger. At the beginning of its existence, the Pramberger company was a small family business. Over the years and continuous improvement of instruments, the company grew. At the beginning of the 20th century, Pramberger moved its factory to the United States, more specifically to the New York area. The company employed better and better technicians who had experience in building instruments of such a brand as Steinway&Sons. As a result, the instruments produced at the Pramberger factory were of increasingly better quality and were appreciated by a growing number of pianists, especially in the United States. Today, the Pramberger brand is very well known in this country and can often be found, for example, in American film productions.
